This week, I’m going to give each team a piece of advise that will improve your team and help you make the playoffs. This week, we put Mitchell in the GM position for each team!
Tim vs Logan
Tim. Man this seat is hot and has cob webs everywhere… Like no one’s been here in centuries. A lot of tough breaks this year but moving forward. There is a deficiency of QBs this season so I’d trade Stafford after the week. This isn’t a keeper league so there’s no need to keep Fournette for the future. Trade him for 2 top 10 players at their position and make a run at the playoffs. Logan. For the love of all things don’t make a trade. Put a padlock on the door and burn the building down. Start Mohamed Sanu. That is all. Logan wins this week
Derek vs Jake
Derek. Is that Jay Ajayi eating a philly cheese steak on the door? This place is weird. Also why is there house music playing and strobing lights. Is that Rob Gronkowski? Anyways… Hot take time, Derek makes the playoffs and maybe wins a game in the playoffs. So what should he do? Trade Will Fuller before everyone fully understands how bad Tom Savage is. Stop starting Phillip Rivers. Have faith in Joe Mixon. Derek wins. Jake. At some point you had to get out of the Matt Ryan business and get some players with some upside. Personally I don’t hate getting TY Hilton, no-where to go but up. My advise, get a star. You need to package some players together and go after a bigger consistent name.
Mason vs Gray
Mason. Man, this seat is worn out… and there is someone living in here?! Anyways, first, let’s all pray that Jordy Nelson has some sort of a bounce back (dodged that bullet) (Now that I said that he’s guaranteed to have a good week). I’d look to sell JuJu, coming off the nice week, hold on to Hogan and drop Rod Smith. Gray. Do something. Like anything. Mason wins.
Ben vs Adam
Ben. First, time to freshen up the team name. Second, cut the following players. Coby Fleener, Kendal Wright, Trevor Siemian, Thomas Rawls, Panthers D/ST. Pick up, like anyone else. Then trade Doug Martin for two viable starters. Adam. See point about QBs. Trade Mariota after Wentz bye. Drop the following players Kenny Golladay (He hasn’t scored a SINGLE POINT in 5 weeks), Corey Davis and Sammy Watkins. This will be a close one after Jarrod straight did the man dirty. I’m taking Ben in the upset.
Jarrod vs Caleb
Jarrod. Sound the alarm. Red Alert. Red Alert. No QB=Big problem. You’re going to need to get one of the following people, Matt Stafford, Marriota or Big Ben. Also trade Zach Ertz, his ceiling can’t get any higher. Also, hot take time, trade Lamar Miller. Here’s why. Houston is about to lose some games, big time. Which means, they might start to experiment with some younger players (D. Foreman) rather than running a veteran like Lamar Miller. I’d trade him before that becomes a full on RBBC. Caleb. Man… is this building on fire? It kinda feels like it. Fitz and D. Hop now have the football equivalent to a stump throwing them the ball. The downslide is starting to hit for Cj Anderson with Devontae Booker being healthy again (See my post for the last 8 weeks) and you’re rostering 3 QBs for some reason. Trade Ben, drop Bortles. I wouldn’t trade Gurley or Gordon but you need to seek back up ASAP. Jarrod wins.
Hanna vs Mitchell
Hanna. Ezek is suspe… no wait… he’s good… no wait… Well, one way your team is a lot better than the other. Yup, that’s what I’m giving here… Plus there’s a chance Rodgers comes back this year so… Hold down the fort and pray? I love Funchess moving forward (Yes it’s because he went to Michigan). Dion Lewis is getting a lot of work. For some reason the Browns don’t believe they can bench Isaish Crowell. I’d look to replace Blount with Ajayi coming to town. Other than that… Idk… Did I mention pray for Aaron Rodgers collar bone? Cause I’d do that. Mitchell. You look great man. Keep up the good work. Now that Ezek is back, I’m worried. Gonna go with Hanna this week.
