I remember a blissful period of my life when I’d spend 20-30 minutes before Thursday Night Football and I’d write a column of winners and losers for the week. Which… between us… was really just propaganda to get the players I want and insult the teams I thought were good. But it was fun, I enjoy writing and really enjoy a captive audience.
It’s funny, because when I started writing these columns, I was doing it on my HTC 1 phone (because I didn’t have internet at my house so my computer was useless), then I’d have to copy it into the ESPN message board. The only issue is, the message board has a character limit and I, of course, don’t. So, I’d end up posting 5 times in the message board, copying and pasting these thoughts together for 3 or 4 people to end up reading it. It was really a bunch of bull shit. Because I am funny… and people wouldn’t even take the time to read it… Some people ammi right?!
But LOOK AT ME NOW, we are in our 7th season as a league, we have a podcast and a website (we won’t talk about how I haven’t used it in 2 years). We have a solid group of friends in the league (I can call you guys friends right? Jake?), who talk throughout the year and we have a legit year long dynasty league. It’s pretty great… everything I wanted if I am honest.
So, with that in mind and by popular request, I will expand our content to include both a podcast and a written blog… because what else do I have to do. I’ll try to post picks and other fun stuff here weekly and do some interviews and nonsense on the podcast. It’s going to be great… probably.
