Power Rankings update
Here’s a quick update on how I see our power rankings going forward. Presented with no debate or reasoning. (this is not a prediction of playoff seeding, simply power rankings moving forward)

Jake vs Hanna
Does anyone know what happened to Jake’s team? Anyone? Because I thought he was going to be an actual competitor this year and home boy is 3-5 with 855 total points scored… that’s 8th best. Meanwhile, Hanna keeps rolling along off her bye week, back to full strength. Plus, Emmanuel Sanders? (imagine me saying that like a question, if you didn’t already). Even though Hanna is 6-2 I still think this team is one legit starter away from being able to compete with the best. You know who’s not the best? Jake.

Father Tim vs Gray
Papa Dohm’s bye week couldn’t come at a better time. Coming off a two game losing streak, FT needs a win to stay up in the playoff race. Right now, he’s an 8th seed and that means you are up against the lobos and being up against the lobos is the worst possible thing to happen to you (just ask Derek). I do think Timbo Jo’s team comes around. Solid production out of Fournette, Thielen, Gordon and Hilton could make this team a tough out at the end of the season…unless he’s playing the lobos.

Derek vs Adam
My bad Derek, you finally have a breakout week and I am there to ruin everything. Speaking of ruining everything, hey Adam. Derek’s team looks much much better than his record (now that Tevin Coleman is back) and maybe that Juju trade wasn’t as bad as advertised. Maybe. Adam on the other hand, his team looks bad (minus Aaron Jones). Poor production from Goff, Landry, Ertz, and Allen (my buy low player of the week) might put Adam in some trouble. Although, with his current record and the fact that with Jones and Thomas he can get really terrible production everywhere else and still be okay, this team will be a tough out and maybe… just maybe a giant killer. BUT THIS WEEK IN MY STONE COLD LEAD PIPE UPSET OF THE WEEK
Derek Wins
Logan vs Jarro
The legion is a combination of done and surprisingly still in it. I mean really, he is only one game out of a playoff spot. Now, the bad news is that he has to play Jarro this week and TGIII is on a bye. I still like Logan’s team and I like the Kupp trade (yes I know what happened last week and the fact that Kupp has scored more than TGIII all year, whatever). I think Logan has a legit punchers chance at the playoffs and this team is much better than last year. Jarro’s team is stupid and I hate it. . BUT THIS WEEK IN MY STONE COLD LEAD PIPE UPSET OF THE WEEK GIVE ME THE LEIGON TO WIN. YES YOU HEARD ME. GIVE. ME. THE. LEIGON.

Ben vs Caleb
THE DEANDRE HOPKINS BOWL. All I remember about that trade was taking prom pictures with Derek outside of the John cabin while Mason coached Ben through the deal. What a time to be alive. In my important news, this is another huge week for playoff positioning. At this point, the name of the game is don’t be the 7thor 8th seed, because the last thing you want is to lose in the first round. Going strickly off total points, Caleb has been better than Ben. And, believe it or not, Caleb has been the most unlucky team this year, as far as points against goes, so maybe Caleb, not as bad as I thought? But then I look at his lineup and remember, he is just as bad as I thought. Ben, is holding down the fort until DJ comes back, then his lineup will be pretty decent. But, no DJ this week, so I’ll be going against the grain here and picking MY STONE COLD LEAD PIPE UPSET OF THE WEEK

Mason vs Mitchell
I am not gonna lie I miss the old Mason, who used to be proud of his team and guarantee victory each week. I mean, him lying over and just saying “gotta win weeks 14-16” is like the nerd telling the bully, “oh yea, well I see you during ACT season”. Nobody cares. Live in the moment. Live in the now. Speaking of the now, Carson Wentz, yikes. I also think we have got a real “live by the sword, die by the sword” situation with Mike Williams. To me, it looks like our matchup will hinge on if Derrick Henry plays football and if Jamis decides to throw to Evans or Godwin. I have a real bad feeling I am going to eat my words this week soooo FOR MY STONE COLD LEAD PIPE UPSET OF THE WEEK.

I don’t understand your divine ways. I don’t understand why you took me through the mud to sit on your white couch of glory. I don’t understand. But who am I to question the almighty. I just pray over the next few weeks, can we get a scandal or two in Columbus? We all know they’re cheating… let’s get it out a little sooner so their DE or RB can get kicked out of school. You can keep that QB around, he sucks.
