Draft day is almost here and this year its going to be something special. We are in our 3rd year of our dynasty league, and the 9th year of the MFL (if you count DFL years). Can our League Champion Jake keep it together with his divine ability to play the wavier-wire? Will a bottom-feeder team finally wake up and make a dang trade to compete for the Jacket? It all begins here, on draft day…
Things to know:
League Fee: $100. Cash, Paypal, Venmo, ApplePay.
The draft will start at 6pm at the Scrub Oak sports facility at LA. Dinner will be served and then the main event will start immediately afterward. The menu is smoked meats of various animals and cuts. Side dishes are welcome, or chip in if your heart feels led. (Or it may just be pulled pork, the grillmaster hasnt decided yet.)
BYOB. Ice is provided.
Draft Day Preliminaries:
- Golf currently set for 8:30am at Grenelefe Golf Course. That may change.
- 2pm Volleyball and Basketball Tourneys. Dip in the lake after.
- 6pm MFL Draft Dinner
- 7pm The Main Event
Items to bring if you are staying in the cabin:
- Bedding/pillow
- Towel
- Toothbrush (and deodorant if your into that sort of thing)
Items to bring if your golfing:
- Water
- Birdie juice
- Sunscreen
- Tees and balls
- Singles
Items to bring to the draft:
- Draft sheets
- League fee
- A side for dinner
- Drinks of your choice
- A winning attitude
